2023 Master Builders — Gold, Best Renovation to $750K

Whanganui · 2023

A masterful restoration of a 100-year-old Whanganui villa. Hardy Construction breathed new life into this historic home without deviating from its historical DNA or diluting any of its obvious charm. Rooms were reconfigured, the kitchen moved and expanded, a new deck added — all without losing a single ounce of original character. Winner of the 2023 Master Builders House of the Year Gold Award for Best Renovation to $750,000.

This project included a renovation and refresh of the kitchen and adjoining laundry, with the spaces thoughtfully reconfigured to create a more practical and efficient layout.
